Won the Lottery!!!

You think I’ll be writing this if this was true??? May of done. Usually a good brain dump and freshes out your mind. Still having no luck in finding the owner of the building that I would like to start up. I have thought of a plan b of starting off small. Thought of a way that can make numerous ways of attracting customers to the business. Now looking into becoming a coffee nerd. Learn all the ways of mastering that fine coffee. Trying out obscure drinks from around the world and adding them on the menu. Will have the big standard cappichino, latte. But in very small writing!!! Have one side manga based, other bored game based. Have a storage of magic gathering Yu-Gi-Oh cards for people to use for good old jolly with their drinks. Another reason for doing this. If the coffee is good, would attract others to try it, in hope of promoting tabletop games or manga within the area. It would be good to try out all three different industries into one and see how it goes. What I would be looking forward to doing is having eventful nights like, learning how to draw anime, voice acting, games night events as well as card trading amongst others. Weather it plans out that way, will be a different story.

Mean time, I have booked my slot at a local hall to try out a games night. £20 for three hours to start with. End of July. Need some more research and preparation before I start advertising for this. I shall start it begining of June. There is also a geek meet event going on begining of June, people will have a good time, wish they can do it all of the time and booooom games evening end of July. Nice idea. Only the event will speak for itself really.

The coffee making, I didn’t realise on sooo much is involved with making an espresso. Measurements of the coffee beans before grinding, squirting the beans with water before grinding, water ratio each pour etc it’s absolutely insane. You basilically, need to buy your self a lab to make an amazing coffee for sure!!! Cheapest I managed to do it is a normal espresso perculator. You have to baby sit the kettle to get the process done to perfection, to taste amazing, for £15 for the grounded coffee and kettle, it’s a very good starting point for sure!!! Highly dealt I will get myself a machine, till I open up my business to help speed the process up. The processes of making a really nice coffee and an espresso are two different processes with different beans and different mg of caffeine measurements. Even as I am writing it out, it’s like me writing out an algebra equation fucking nuts!!! Still this is a journey to build something successful and hope this becomes bigger than the geek retreat. Making this become a gaffee bonanza!!!

I have come up with all these ideas, once the research starts taking into action, I can also use the games nights to (if they actually contiue on after the first one) to start making some of these coffees for players to try and see if they really like them or not. Nice wee tally, more yesses than nos (me hoping there is about 11 of us involved) it’s on the menu!!!

I did come up with themed mugs for the place also. I was browsing stuff I could buy to help start the business up. First editions of manga for people never read them before. Noticed there was a cup and other merch that was up for sale. Which gave me the idea of theming up my mugs. It’ll cover all genres of manga and games keep the vibe going.

This has been my week, planning b for a very small premises and to eventually land on the premises of dream to allow me to do the extra activities I have store. Opening up a crafts room, allow people to paint Thier figures up, having the air brushes set for them to use. Having themed rooms so people can rock up and play D&D room, Warhammer room. Setting up a studio, one for people to draw and another to voice act their version of manga. A cinema room for anime premiers and soon much more I can think of what I can do is unlimited.  Sounds like Tokyo dream but in my area.
