A Lot of Moving Parts Have Been Happening

Daaaaaammmnn. It’s been nearly a month since I last wrote! I have found out that I require an operation on my knee in regard to getting an ACL reconstruction. This is where my life has currently been turned upside down. The company that I currently work for, states that SSP (statutory Sick Pay) is my only option. Not ideal. This has also helped me push the boat out and start off with a part-time job with costa. If I would like to make my own coffee, an absolute rollercoaster of different possibilities of beans to try to play around with. Knowing the different tastes of each bean and what taste is popular. What I am after, is to master a good coffee that will sell. That’s just a tip of the iceberg of the journey. Having basic knowledge of being a Barista would be advantageous on opening up my own café. I will be taking a hit on the wages for and make some sacrifices to be made during this new journey I am taking.

I no longer have a working 3D printer at the minute. Furthermore, I also did not have a working washing machine as the seal had gone on it. Plus side, I have now fixed the washing machine, I need to find the cable diagram for the ender 7 to plug everything up. I hope the sonic pad will recognise a new thermistor and configure everything successfully, fingers crossed on that one. I had a built-up list of things to do, and It’s nice to have them reduced. May month definitely tested my patience. Seeing the result has certainly made me more and more motivated than ever. It’s a struggle when to keep yourself motivated when the results are against you. Thankfully, I stuck with the 31 days Boho Beautiful yoga each morning, first thing I did when I woke up to keep myself calm and collective.

I did have numerous of interviews to prepare for also. As much as I like to get myself back into the IT industry. Interviews always throw me off. I do my research within the company, nothing gets asked about it, I do research within IT technical questions, company questions come out. Research the whole shebang, my brain is far too fried for when it comes to the interview. I mean, when I apply, they can see I have not touched the IT industry in a while and try to keep myself clued-up with what is going on in regard to technologies. I feel the interviews are built to have recent experience, as the terminology of the workings of the IT, if you are not dealing with it day and day out, this can can throw you off. Surely understanding the basic workings of technologies, having a technical mind should be advantageous, all technologies are different in their own unique way. You can only hold a certain amount of knowledge within your mind. The more you deal within in the industry, it usually becomes second nature.

I am very thankful on grabbing a new car. Sister did me a right score and gained a fairly good car for great price. Need to spruce the old wagon up and try to sell it. It was ideal before my weekend away to Padstow. The trip was amazing! Had my bell tent set up on my tod, the biggest challenge I thought I’d be facing, I’m sure it was more luck than judgement! The inflatables were incredible, the bed, sofa, chair, and table were great. Lasted the full 4 days without any extra air required. Slightly glad, as my power source had died on the Sunday. Me chilling to my laptop in the evenings and charging my phone after I had the inflatables all pumped up. The use it got amazed me on how long it lasted to be fair. Having a solar panel to have the electric generator is the next goal. This will have to wait till next year. I’ve had my holiday. Time to restart and smash some more work, by doing this I can plan on a longer and better holiday.

In the meantime, I have been building up a game collection up real slowly. In hope that, I’ll have enough options within the event that I am holding if anyone ever decides to turn up. Does become a terrible addict looking for games on an absolute budget and trying to build the collection up affordably. This week’s goal will be to sit down and learn how to play them all, nothing worse than turning up to an event and not knowing what is going on ayyy.
