After numerous amounts of research, I have managed to see all the different possibilities of creating your own space on the dirt cheap if not, free! Producing a webserver and own domain server, is to hold my space, free roaming, post anything to an extent. It would be like being god as you have full control of this world, held on a server! This blog is not my world. This could get shut down whenever. I can lose my domain, as much as I love it, people can buy it whenever they like.

It’s a journal to share my single life journey. I’m the type of person that needs to know the ins and Outs of how things work to get a greater understanding on how to progress myself further. Little did I know, when producing my own webserver, there was no need to. I started using WordPress, perfectly free to customise a page. Where I live, the wage I’m on is pretty good. Living on your own, it doesn’t show, definitely doesn’t feel like I am!

I carry on creating this page on WordPress as I start seeing how to produce my own domain name. I know it’s not advisable to produce a webserver and DNS on the same server. My theory is, if I set a bat file to create an image of the servers day in day out (obviously not saving on the same hard drive). Of course I’ll keep the original, to start fresh, I wouldn’t need to go through the configuration again (trial and error). Backing up the coding would happen. Surely, it should be as simple as formatting a hard drive, uploading iso and applying coding, if anything went wrong? Within this Experience, cyber security skills would need to be improved! Hell, I may even make my own antivirus! To ensure people cannot tickle it’s pickle and play around with my world.

Got WordPress, that’s available on this platform. Free to use(with limitations). For a domain, you can use freenom.com, you can claim a domain name for free, as they finish .tk, .ml, anything obscure than the usual .com. it’s free. The whole idea of domain name, as it’s great marketing for your business. I saw somewhere online my ideal domain name, singletons.life. love at first sight when I saw it. £4, checkout sold! Don’t know about your situation, I can do a lot with the £4. I really liked the domain name. No brainer.

We now have a webpage and domain, for free. Anyone can set up a website from a mobile device. Situation depending. Either use a laptop, mobile and use of a pub (hoping they do bottomless brews!) WiFi and electric, you can set up a free website, and share your experiences with the world!
